Every year at this time, there is an increase in people going door-to-door asking for money for car repairs, sick kids, the need to use your phone or needing food.  While some of the requests may be real, please be cautious when answering your door.  Do not let anyone you do not know come into to your home.  It's better to be safe and report all suspicious activity to GRPD at 456-3400. 

Also, if you are pulled over by an officer, the officer will be in a marked car with sirens on top.  Do not stop for "unmarked" police cars.  If you are unsure, call the police.
